I heard awesome reports about the institution from friends and co-workers.
Favorite MidwayU Experience or Memory
All my memories are special, but I learned I was expecting a baby ( 4 months) at the end of my first semester. Because the staff and students were so supportive I kept going forward. All staff gave me the individualized attention and encouragement needed. My favorite memory was having my children and family present for all the special recognitions, including the most important, graduation. I have memories of my toddler playing in the copious amount of leaves generated by the massive and numerous trees on campus.
Current Place of Employment
I am currently retired from institutions but keep my nursing license current. I am still caregiving for family members, plus nursing is a huge part of my identity.

What was your favorite thing about Midway?
The learning which never ends, and camaraderie with my fellow class mates.
What are some of your hobbies?
I continue to read and study. I love socializing with my family. I just had a new great grand daughter Friday morning. Hopefully someone will follow in my footsteps. I have set the example.
Interesting Fact About You.
There is no one I don’t love. I love to share and talk. When asked, I will share my knowledge. My career has been a long road and I have learned so much, and still learning.
Anything else you would like us to know?
I have no regrets. It’s been a long journey, but I wouldn’t change a thing. Midway University gave me my career with a lot of hard work. I wouldn’t be who I am today without them.
