To ensure compliance with federal and state civil rights laws and regulations, and to affirm its commitment to promoting the goals of fairness and equity in all aspects of the educational program or activity, Midway University has developed internal policies and procedures that provide a prompt, fair, and impartial process for those involved in an allegation of discrimination or harassment on the basis of protected class status, and for allegations of retaliation.
Midway University values and upholds the equal dignity of all members of its community and strives to balance the rights of the parties in the grievance process during what is often a difficult time for all those involved.

Reporting
Students and employees may report Title IX violations anytime through the online form or with a Title IX Coordinator. All inquires about or concerns regarding the Title IX policy and procedures can be made to Joe Ryan, Dean of Students and Title IX Coordinator.

Training
Midway University’s Title IX Coordinator, Deputy Title IX Coordinator(s), and individuals who serve as advisors, investigators, and decision-makers receive training through the Association of Title IX Administrators (ATIXA) resources. ATIXA’s training materials are can be found online.
Faculty and staff receive training on Title IX policies and procedures during New Employee Orientation, Faculty Development Institute, and Staff Development Institute. Any employee seeking additional training may contact a Title IX Coordinator for more information and resources.
Students are required to completed online module trainings through Vector LMS for Sexual Violence Awareness (Campus SaVE Act), Intimate Partner Violence (VAWA), and Title IX Rights and Protections.
