Midway University is pleased to offer a variety of degree programs for KCTCS students and we make it easy for you to transfer in your credits. If you’re looking for the traditional college semester format and experience, we welcome transfer students into our Undergraduate programs. Or if you’re looking for a program in an accelerated format, choose one of our Evening or Online Undergraduate programs designed with 8-week courses that start 5 times throughout the year. Many degrees can actually be completed 100% online, giving you the most flexibility for your schedule.

Midway University offers some of the most affordable tuition rates in Kentucky. To make it even more affordable for KCTCS transfer students we even waive the application fee, just use the code "KCTCS" when you apply.

Transfer scholarships are available for students going into our traditional undergraduate programs. For the evening and online programs students who receive their Associates in Science, Arts, or Applied Science with a 3.0 or higher may receive $1,000.00 scholarship renewable for up to two years with a 2.5 GPA.

Student Spotlight: Beth Sickler

Beth Sickler with her horse Mr. Will

Beth Sickler transferred from KCTCS to Midway University because the Equine Business and Sales degree is offered 100% online, which allows her to work full-time as she pursues her education.

Although the degree is offered entirely online, Beth said she has been happy to find that staff and faculty are still responsive to her needs. She added "everyone is extremely helpful and wants you to succeed and do well."

Student Testimonial

“If you are thinking about transferring, take the leap. It can seem overwhelming or scary, but Midway went above and beyond in making the transfer process super simple. I teach preschool and have already been applying techniques I learned from Midway to my classroom. I am very excited to continue my education and continue diving into the education program and learning how to be the best teacher I can be.”
