Madison's journey at Midway University is a testament to the power of dedication, community, and seizing opportunities.

Madison graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Equine Studies with a concentration in Rehabilitation in 2020. Her academic journey did not stop there; she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, completing it in 2022, followed by an MBA the same year. Madison's diverse educational background reflects her passion for both the equine industry and the business world.

Throughout her undergraduate years, Madison was a vibrant member of Midway's athletic community. She was a dedicated member of the western riding team for all four years, showcasing her equestrian skills and passion for horse riding. In addition to her equestrian pursuits, Madison was also an integral part of the women's tennis team for three years. Balancing rigorous academic programs with athletic commitments, Madison demonstrated remarkable time management and perseverance.

When asked why she chose Midway University, Madison highlights the small, close-knit community that the university offers. "Midway's location is perfect for the equine industry, providing numerous opportunities at high-end and prominent businesses," Madison explains. Her favorite memories include home horse shows and spending quality time with friends, underscoring the enriching and supportive environment at Midway.

Today, Madison works in accounting at Ashford Stud, Coolmore America. Her transition from equine science to accounting is a fascinating journey influenced by two professors during her undergraduate studies. Their mentorship and guidance played a pivotal role in shaping her career path, illustrating the profound impact of dedicated educators at Midway.

Madison's advice for current and future students is both practical and inspiring. "Seize all the opportunities you can. If you must rearrange your class schedule to fit in a great work opportunity, do it. Make all the connections you can in the industry you want to go into after graduation," she advises. Her words reflect her proactive approach to education and career development, encouraging students to be adaptable and network extensively.

Reflecting on her time at Midway, Madison fondly recalls the unique experience of riding horses between classes, a perk that few universities can offer. This seamless integration of her academic and personal passions made her time at Midway truly special.

Outside of her professional life, Madison enjoys a range of hobbies that keep her connected to her roots. She loves riding and showing her two horses, spending time with her dogs, and playing tennis. These activities not only provide relaxation but also keep her engaged in the sports and interests she cultivated during her time at Midway.

Madison's journey is a compelling story of growth, opportunity, and the power of community. Her favorite quotes, "Frustration begins where knowledge ends" and "Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going," encapsulates her approach to life and success. Madison Chambers is not just an alumna of Midway University; she is a shining example of how the university prepares its students to excel in diverse fields and make meaningful contributions to their professions and communities.
