  • Alumni Spotlight - Conner Smith, MBA '22

December 01, 2023

Conner Smith ’22 is an MBA graduate and the Head Western Equestrian Coach at Midway University. Conner is originally from North Carolina and now resides in Georgetown, KY. As an employee of Midway University, Conner found the master’s program at Midway University to be an incredible opportunity to further develop both his personal and professional goals. “The curriculum's rigor, faculty members' helpfulness, and realistic educational objectives assured me that I made the right decision in pursuing higher education at MidwayU,” says Conner.

Although there are far too many positive experiences that Conner felt he could share, he is most thankful for the opportunity to collaborate with other graduate students within similar industries who shared similar goals for both personal and professional futures.

Conner’s advice to future Eagles is to ENJOY IT!  “Seize the moment and be a part of the admirable culture here. Together, we make MidwayU! We aren't just an institution; we are a family”. -Conner Smith '22

Conner feels that the University’s culture is unmatched. For that, the culture is by far his favorite thing about Midway University.

Obviously, Conner enjoys riding and showing horses, yet he also loves water sports, cooking out and judging horse shows.
