Meet Cinelle, a 2023 alumna of Midway University who has been making waves in the equestrian world since graduating with summa cum laude honors in 2023 and a double major in Equine Science and Business Administration.
Immediately after completing her studies, Cinelle was offered the position of Business Manager at Double Dan Horsemanship and the International Liberty Horse Association (ILHA). Working closely with industry icons Dan and Dr. Elizabeth James, Cinelle has been at the forefront of organizing the annual Liberty Festival, held at the Kentucky Horse Park's Alltech Arena since 2022.
With an impressive lineup of international clinicians and guest stars, including luminaries such as Ben Atkinson, Warwick Schiller, Pat Parelli, Ty Murray and Amber Marshall from "Heartland," Cinelle has played a pivotal role in orchestrating this event, from crafting merchandise to ensuring sponsorship and vendor relations. But Cinelle's contributions extend far beyond event management. She plays an instrumental role behind ILHA's memberships, judges, and online presence.
Her role as Show Manager for the ILHA Invitational Liberty Freestyle Competition at the Michigan Horse Expo and the ILHA Championship Show at the Liberty Festival ensured competitors and entries maintained seamless flow of the show, in line with the expectations of event management and audience enjoyment. Cinelle often crisscrosses the United States alongside renowned clinician Dan James and the Double Dan Horsemanship team, assisting Dan with reining competitions, liberty demonstrations and performances at premier events such as the National Western Stock Show, National Quarter Horse Congress, Midwest Horse Expo, Western States Horse Expo and the Road to the Horse.
Her expertise in social media management and vendor sales coordination has been instrumental for Double Dan Horsemanship's profile and reach. Cinelle's creative talents have also been recognized in the realm of photography, with her work featured in esteemed publications such as Horseman's Corral Magazine, North Texas Farm & Ranch Magazine and the Kentucky & Ohio Equestrian Directory. Collaborating with industry professionals such as Jason Swick from Day 6 Ranch, Mark Lyon from Lyon Horses, Caitie and Elliot Holtzman from Versatile Horsemanship and Ariana Sakaris from Ariana Sakaris Equestrian Development and established photographers Greg Niro and Jay Gunning, Cinelle continues to push the boundaries of equestrian artistry and storytelling.
Moreover, she had the privilege of collaborating on videography projects, teaming up with the talented singer Jacleen Marie Hess to film and produce a captivating music video for her hit song "Something Up His Sleeve.
In addition to her professional achievements, Cinelle's competitive spirit shines through, with victories in both traditional and virtual Liberty competitions winning the Non-Pro Liberty at Shoulder and Bareback and Bridleless classes. And as she prepares to embark on her Graduate Degree in Business Administration in the fall of 2024, Cinelle is determined to further elevate her career trajectory and make an indelible mark on the equestrian industry with her unique blend of talent, dedication, and creativity
