Originally from Taylor, TX, Jennifer graduated from Midway University with a Bachelor's degree in Equine Science in 2018. She continued her education at MidwayU and earned an MBA in 2020. Jennifer currently works for the United States Equestrian Foundation in Lexington, KY.

Why I Chose MidwayU

I chose Midway based on its incredible location for the equine industry, and the opportunities the equine program offered.

Hunt Seat Team, Horse Shows

Favorite Class and/or Faculty Member

Equine Debate class with Dr. Holland my senior year. This class urges students to think broadly about topics that are controversial, but extremely relevant, in the equine world.

How MidwayU Impacted My Career

Midway gave me the opportunity to make numerous contacts (through class and internships) across Central Kentucky which has helped me stand out in the workforce.

Enjoy your time at Midway, work hard, make contacts, dream big!

Hobbies

I still compete with my personal horses in Hunter/Jumpers. I also enjoy sewing, knitting, and gardening.

I’m left-handed. Also, my parents lived in Midway while I attended graduate school at UK.
