Midway University is offering transfer assistance for Cincinnati Christian University students upon its announcement last week that it would close at the end of the year.
“It was difficult to hear the news of CCU since we have a long connection with them through our athletics programs. Feeling for them and their students, we want to help as we can, said Rusty Kennedy, Vice President of Admissions and Athletics. “Midway University has helped several students from other institutions the last few years transfer seamlessly when their schools closed, most notably St. Catharine’s College in 2016. We understand the stress and uncertainty this can cause to students and their families. Our admissions and financial aid counselors are ready to assist students by working with them quickly to help them transfer and not interrupt their academic progress.”
For students interested in transferring, they can apply for free online using code CCU. Upon completion of the application, admissions will work quickly to get their application processed. Academic and athletic scholarships are available as well as need-based aid for those who qualify. (Midway’s FAFSA Code: 001975).
CCU students are invited to schedule a campus visit or schedule an individual appointment with admissions at www.midway.edu/experience.
Like CCU, Midway has a robust athletics program, including 25 varsity sports for fall 2020. Those student-athletes interested in Midway Athletics are encouraged to reach out to the coach. All contact information can be found on the directory at gomidwayeagles.com. Or students can complete a recruitment form on the site.
