In an ongoing effort to assist students who may have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, Midway University announced it would continue to waive the ACT and SAT requirement for general admission to the University and extend its test optional admission through the fall 2021 recruitment cycle.
“Earlier this year we made the decision to be test optional as many of the testing sites were closed due to the pandemic, said Rusty Kennedy, Vice President of Admissions and Student Affairs. “As we know, the impact of COVID-19 continues into this academic year and we want to be sure we are making the opportunity for those who wish to attend Midway University possible.”
Test optional waives the ACT or SAT requirement just for general admission to the University; there are some specific programs that still require test score submissions to be admitted.
“Those students who submit an application without test scores still have the opportunity to earn merit aid,” said Kennedy.
