Midway Baseball Stadium Campaign

Midway Baseball Stadium Campaign

Why a Baseball Stadium?

In 2016-17 Midway University added baseball to our growing list of athletic opportunities.  In its inaugural season, the team won the River States Conference Championship and earned a bid to the national tournament.

Currently, our team must travel for both practice and games to facilities the University is currently leasing in a neighboring community. This adds a burden of transporting athletes each day as well as sharing facilities with other organizations which limits access for the team to train and play.

The construction of the on-campus Midway Eagles Baseball Stadium will not only provide our athletics program the opportunity to compete on a true home field, it provides them with the much-needed training ground for our student-athletes throughout the year. Having access to good facilities is both the key to good game performance and continued recruitment, as well as builds community spirit on campus.

There are many opportunities for naming rights and sponsorship recognition within this campaign. Our Advancement Office Staff welcomes the opportunity to meet with you and discuss the baseball park campaign. Contact Tim Culver, Vice President of Advancement, at tculver@midway.edu or 859.846.5300 for more information.
