  • FLUNCH -Take Faculty to Lunch

FLUNCH Program

The FLUNCH program is designed to encourage meaningful interaction between students, faculty, and industry professionals outside the classroom. Through this program, students can invite faculty members or industry professionals to a complimentary lunch in Piper Dining Hall.

This mentorship program provides students with academic learning support, opportunities to reflect on their progress, seek advice throughout their college journey, and a chance to explore potential career paths and professional interests. These conversations will give students the opportunity to develop key professionalism skills, strengthen communication skills, and expand their academic and professional networks.

How It Works

  1. Students must submit an application to participate at least TWO weeks before their desired FLUNCH timeframe. This ensures sufficient time to contact the mentor and coordinate a meeting that accommodates their schedule.
  2. Wait for an approval or rejection email from the Director of Career Services. If approved, the contact information for the mentor selected to FLUNCH with will be provided, along with a lunch coupon. Rejection emails will contain details as to why a request was rejected.
  3. Once approved, reach out to your mentor and schedule a FLUNCH. When paying for the meal at the cafeteria, show the cashier your FLUNCH coupon.

Rescheduling a FLUNCH

In the event that a FLUNCH needs to be rescheduled, please ensure that all involved parties have been notified of the updated date and time.
