This month we’re shining the spotlight on the current president of the MidwayU Alumni Association Advisory Board, Deborah Hahn Brock ’12.

Originally from Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, Deborah graduated from Midway University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and an Associate's in Computer Information Systems. She currently resides in Liberty Township, OH and works for Roofsmith Restoration as a Project Manager.

WHY I CHOSE MIDWAYU: Midway gave me the opportunity to be a person and not just a number. You had the opportunity to shine and belong to an awesome community.

FAVORITE MIDWAYU EXPERIENCE OR MEMORY: My favorite memory was being a representative for Midway at the Kentucky Mountain Laurel Festival. 

WHAT MIDWAYU MEANS TO ME: Midway changed my life and has continued to give me opportunities. It’s my second family that is always supportive and there.

SKILLS LEARNED AT MIDWAYU: Midway provided me skills to enter the work world and provided me with the skills to succeed right out of school entering the workforce.

ADVICE FOR FUTURE EAGLES: Become an active alumnus to continue that Midway experience.

HOBBIES/INTERESTS: Spending time with family and friends.

INTERESTING FACT ABOUT YOU: Being in SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise) business club landed me my first job out of college working for a Fortune 500 company, PepsiCo.
