The requirements listed below are the first step of your journey with our University. This is a guide for helping you understand the University requirements but we encourage you to contact us so we can assess your individual educational background as they relate to our admission requirements.
First-time Students Admissions Information
- Official ACT or SAT results (if under age 24).
- Official high school transcript or official General Education Diploma transcript
Recommended minimum criteria:
- GPA of 2.5 or GED Score of 660 (165 or higher on each test)
- 18 ACT or equivalent SAT score
Required High School preparation equivalency:
- Algebra –3 years
- English –4 years
- Social Sciences –2 years
- Science –2 years
NOTE: (Chemistry is expected for nursing and science majors; Trigonometry or pre-calculus is recommended for science, math, and accounting majors.)
Submit High School Transcript – Official transcripts should be mailed directly by the high school to the Office of Admissions or sent electronically by a secured third site (i.e. Parchment Exchange, National Student Clearinghouse).
Official SAT or ACT scores – Midway University will accept official score reports from the testing organizations.
Midway’s SAT code is 1467 and ACT is 1528
