  • Department of Equine Studies

From hands-on work, barn internships and more, Midway's Department of Equine Studies trains our students to work in a variety of professions within the horse industry.

Located in the heart of Kentucky’s world-famous horse country, Midway University is the perfect place to follow your passion and train for a career in the equine industry. The University sits on a 200-acre working horse farm, providing students with a unique opportunity to walk out their front door and straight to the barns for hands-on experience.

When you decide to enroll in our equine science program, you will have access to expert faculty members, practical experience in the barns and a wide array of exciting internships.

No matter where you want your degree to take you, we can put you on the path to success. We welcome students to visit campus and learn more about our equestrian programs.
