The Midway University Pre-Engineering program is a two-year curriculum that prepares students to attend the final three years of engineering programs at other institutions. The program has been carefully constructed to meet the requirements of the first two years of the engineering curriculum at the University of Kentucky and at the University of Louisville.

Maggie Melton '18 was a Pre-Vet student at Midway University. She double majored in Biology and Equine Studies and completed a minor in Chemistry to best prepare herself for veterinarian school. She graduated in May 2022 from the Veterinary Science program at Auburn University.
