How can a master’s in nursing work for you?
Besides increasing salary levels with an advanced degree, a nurse who earns an MSN degree will have additional career opportunities. Midway’s program allows you to choose to follow the path to either become an administrator or nursing educator.
With an MSN you can also look at specializations in other fields of nursing. The biggest advantage is you will have more choices of growing your nursing career with an advanced nursing degree.

If you are planning to pursue professional licensure or certification in a state other than Kentucky, you should contact the appropriate licensing entity in that state to seek information and guidance regarding licensure or certification requirements before beginning an academic program.

"I put off going to graduate school for twenty years after receiving my BSN. With a job and a family, I was cautious to commit my time and resources. But with Midway’s guidance, I was able to focus on an area of study that I am passionate about, prenatal childbirth education… Midway gave me the education and experience I need for my future in nursing education."
