RESIDENTIAL STUDENTS, FACULTY and STAFF may call their telephone number to check for a message from the College. In the event that classes are canceled or postponed, this decision will be made public on the college's voice mail system by 6:00 a.m.

COMMUTING STUDENTS may dial the phone system, after 6:00 a.m. for a voice mail message -- IF, and ONLY IF, bad weather has forced a change in the academic schedule. The phone number for this message is 859-846-5858.

Decisions regarding the cancellation or postponement of classes because of bad weather are based on conditions at each site.
• SCD Classes at Midway College and the Lexington Campus will be at 1-866-747-0003, select option 5 by 4:00 p.m.
• SCD Classes at Community Colleges and other sites are determined by the call of that college campus or business. If the site is closed, then Midway College classes are cancelled or postponed. If it is open, then Midway College classes will be held.
