Public Safety

The Midway College Department of Public Safety functions as a service group rather than a law enforcement organization. Public Safety personnel perform scheduled and random checks for building security, campus security and building fire safety. Public Safety maintains a working relationship with the Woodford County Police and the Midway Fire Department to ensure an immediate response in the event their assistance is required.

Criminal activity, or the threat of criminal activity, and other emergencies on campus should be reported directly to Public Safety, 24 hours a day, by dialing extension 5419.

Campus security is a cooperative endeavor between Public Safety and you. The Midway College Department of Public Safety urges all members of the Midway College community to participate in protecting the safety of our campus.
