Coach Sullivan’s collegiate riding career started at the University of Connecticut where she was a member of the equestrian team, competing in the Open division.  Her collegiate career finished up as an equestrian team member at Oklahoma State University, where she was fortunate enough to train with Larry Sanchez and Suzanne Flaig, and to represent OSU at several invitationals in the Open division as well.  In 2000, Sullivan was a member of the 2000 NCAA National Championship Team.

In 2003, Sullivan interned as a working equestrian student with Dr. Don Devine, where she assisted him in managing the equestrian center, oversaw the fitness and daily training regiment of 30 horses, as well as provided riding and show jumping instruction to students at all levels of riding experience.  At this time the opportunity was given to compete throughout the east coast on the ‘A’ circuit, showing in the preliminary jumper classes.  She has competed in Ocala, Florida, as well as Ellenville, New York.

Coach Sullivan has her BA in Psychology from Oklahoma State University and is currently finishing up her MA in Sport Counseling. In 2002, Sullivan had the opportunity to continue her sport psychology education with the Dallas Cowboys Football Club, as an intern in Player Development for Dr. Yolanda Brooks.
