Making is returning to varsity status this year after competing last year as a club sport. Midway's Cross-Country team won the KIAC in 1997 and 1998, and had a runner-up finish in 1994. Bringing the team back to the level where they can contend for a conference championship every year is the goal of second-year head coach John Davisson.
