Job Description: 
The library student assistant performs circulation-related activities at the circulation desk and assists library patrons to utilize the facilities, collections and services of the library. Responsibilities include circulation and reserve procedures for students, faculty and other patrons in a courteous and competent manner; answering incoming telephone calls with correct protocol and taking legible accurate messages; re-shelving all materials accurately; maintaining a neat and orderly work environment, including the library's public areas; completing correct opening and closing routines when scheduled. This position will also be responsible for maintaining a quiet atmosphere, participating in special projects as directed and knowledge of library staff positions sufficient to make referrals. Arrangement for a substitute in case of absence is also a requirement. Student assistants must also be able to work nights and three weekends during the semester.

The student position will act as assistant to the Information Technology (IT) staff. Responsibilities include assisting with help desk support, assist with basic technical duties such as equipment setup (computers, phones, etc.). Also, update student distribution lists, assist with IT documentation preparation, data entry and filing. Students must have keyboarding skills and a basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office. The individual selected for this position must be self-motivated. This position is excellent job experience for any major as the student will be provided a working knowledge of IT support and daily tasks required to provide technology services to the college community.

This position requires a high level of confidentiality, dependability, maturity, strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Upperclassmen with proven skills are preferred due to the sensitive nature of the student information flowing through the office. Students must be able to schedule work study hours within office hours: Monday – Friday 8-5. Dress will be business casual. Work study assistance is needed to assist with clerical duties. These duties include answering phones, filing, processing mail, greeting students who visit the office, and assisting with other projects.

Job Description: 
We are looking for motivated reliable people to work with our equine herd on campus. A worker must be able to work in all weather conditions, stand/walk for extended amounts of time, lift 50 lbs., and to work some weekends. We prefer you to have basic horse handling skills and feel comfortable working with a wide variety of breeds and sizes of horses. Job duties include, but are not limited to: horse care, feeding watering, cleaning stalls, stable maintenance, tack care, laundry, arena maintenance, assisting with class needs, farm vehicle operation, leading horses, and record keeping. We communicate through e-mail so access to a computer/e-mail is a must. A worker must carry proof of health insurance while employed and have a health physical on file with the college.

Job Description: 
We are looking for a responsible worker who can work with a variety of horses on campus and can handle a managerial position over their peers. Job duties include all that a Barn Worker does and is held responsible for making sure essential chores get done and making sure all workers are staying on task. You must be available to work at least two weekends and possibly early morning hours. Hours are completed around student’s class schedule and will complete 108 hours a semester. We will be interviewing for these positions the first week of class. The requirements for the student barn manager position are: 1 year barn worker experience, work well with others, be able to lead a group of workers, be professional, be on time and have staff recommendation. Student barn managers are responsible for making sure the work gets done and gives direction to the barn workers while on the shift.
