Please join in this wonderful celebration to welcome Dr. & Mrs. Marsden to Midway College. All faculty, staff, students, alums and community members are invited to line up along the Path of Opportunity to welcome them beginning at 9:20 a.m.
At 9:30 a.m. the Marsdens will arrive and be greeted by the horse patrol, our Eagle mascot, board members and community members at the start of the path by the soccer field. Following a procession led by a piper, the Marsdens will walk along the path to the footbridge (not the main entrance bridge) where presentations will be made by SGA, FLC and SAC members. From there we ask that staff, faculty and students line the path cheering and welcoming the Marsdens to campus and fall in behind them. The procession will end at Pinkerton Hall with a few special presentations and remarks by Dr. Marsden. NOTE: Everyone please come to Pinkerton Hall and walk down the hill towards the soccer field. President Cabinet members will be along the path guiding everyone where to line up along the path.
Everyone is then invited to greet Dr. & Mrs. Marsden beginning at 11:30 a.m. inside the Student Center Fireside Room and join us for a complimentary lunch in the dining hall.
