Library instruction is available to any member of the college community either on an individual or group basis. Instruction may encompass a library tour, a basic orientation to services or a more in-depth session on how to use library resources. Students may drop in or make appointments with a library staff member and faculty can make arrangements for a librarian to come to a class for subject-specific instruction. Modes of instruction may include but are not limited to reference interviews, individual or small group research consultations or appointments, group instruction in the library or in a campus classroom, web-based instruction, web tutorials, and by phone or email. Instruction is also available at off-campus sites by request of faculty.
