Getting Started

Midway College students, faculty, and staff will be prompted to log into restricted library resources using their college email account. If your email account is, you will log on with the username jstudent and your email password. Email accounts were issued to students when they were enrolled in classes and to faculty when they were hired for employment.

Note: The library uses a proxy server for user authentication of restricted resources. If you are having problems accessing the proxy server, the problem may lie with firewall or DNS settings on your home computer or company network. For more information, click here for the proxy server troubleshooting web site. Problem 1b. is the most common problem.
