Organizational Management & Business Program - Adjunct and Part-time
Midway College is seeking adjunct and part-time faculty for organizational management and business-related courses. These courses would include marketing, economics, management, and accounting. Applicants must have a master's degree with 18 graduate hours in their teaching discipline. Background check required. Adjuncts/Part-time
Midway College is also seeking qualified applicants for part-time or adjunct positions in all academic areas of the college. Openings include Midway, Louisville, Lexington, Whitesburg, Somerset, Prestonsburg, Maysville, Cynthiana, Carrollton, and Cumberland, KY. Applicants must have a Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in their teaching field.
Adjunct Math Faculty
Midway College, Kentucky’s only college for women and a forerunner in co-educational adult undergraduate and graduate accelerated learning is seeking adjunct math faculty to teach: General College Math, College Algebra, Trigonometry, Finite Mathematics, Calculus, Geometry, and Probability and Statistics in class and/or on-line. A Masters or Ph.D. degree is required with at least 18 graduate credits in mathematics. Housekeepers
Midway College needs dependable individuals for essential full-time positions in our physical plant area.Duties include general cleaning of office and classroom buildings, dormitories and office at equine center. Previous experience in general office/commercial cleaning preferred. Experience with floor care and use of floor buffer and carpet machine is a real plus. Positions involve moderate lifting, extensive walking and use of stairs We offer a comparable salary plus an excellent benefits package including health, dental/vision, life/LTD, paid vacation and sick leave and tuition free benefits. Equine & Facilities Caretaker
We are looking for an equine professional to assist in the management of the college farm. Responsibilities include care of the horses, supervision of work practicum and work-study students, preparation of horses and facilities for production, equine courses and service activities such as clinics, camps and horse shows. BS degree in Equine, Animal Science or related field is preferred and a strong background in equine management is required. Practical experience handling horses is essential. Knowledge of farm equipment and maintenance is desirable. A successful candidate must be able to work and communicate effectively with staff and students and work independently with minimal supervision. This is a regular, full-time position, with a comparable salary plus and excellent benefits package. Assistant Coach
We are seeking applicants for a regular, part-time, 9-month assistant coaching position in women’s basketball. Position is responsible for supporting all aspects of a successful women’s athletic program at the NAIA level. Primary responsibilities include assistance with recruiting, practice planning and supervision, academic supervision, eligibility compliance, and scouting. Bachelor’s degree required. Coaching experience at the college or high school level, and ability to coach and recruit skilled student-athletes is preferred. Background check and acceptable driving record required. Part-Time Farm Worker
Midway College needs a dependable person to fill an essential week-end position at the college farm. Duties include: horse care & feeding, barn/stall cleaning, and general farm labor. Ability to drive farm vehicles and experience with horses is required. Position requires extensive walking, some climbing & using steps, and the ability to work in all weather conditions, and adverse environments (dusty, noisy, odors etc).
