What does the 2+2 Academic Agreement mean to you?
It will enable you to obtain a bachelor’s degree in the most convenient way - ONLINE - from start to finish.
Students who need course credits at the associate degree level will enroll at Highland Community College (Kansas) and complete all coursework 100% ONLINE, then transfer into a Bachelor of Arts program offered at Midway College Online, in accordance with the provisions, requirements and conditions of the agreement.
The agreement enables the seamless admission and academic transfer of online students from Highland Community College (KS) into the online programs at Midway College (KY) without interruption.
HCC students are eligible to transfer in the following bachelor’s degree programs:

Transfer requirements
To transfer associate credits from HCC to Midway, students must present:
• ALL official prior college transcripts
• Official high school transcripts (upon request)
• Official ACT or SAT results (dependent upon program requirements)
• Recommended GPA of at least 2.5
• Statement of Purpose and/or personal interview (upon request)
HCC Enrollment Requirements
To enroll in an associate degree program at HCC, students must meet one (1) of the following requirements:
• GPA: 2.00 or above on a 4.0 scale
• ACT: A composite score of 14
• SAT: A composite score of 930
• GED: An average test score of 450
Please ask your high school counselor to mail a transcript so HCC may verify admission requirements. A final transcript is required after graduation.
