Transfer Students

Academic Requirements: Transfer applicants for admission are evaluated based upon the following criteria:
• Official High School and College Transcripts
• ACT or SAT results
• Class ranks and grade point average (GPA)
• Recommendations and/or personal interviews, when requested

Recommended minimum criteria:
• 18 ACT / 1290 SAT
• 2.0 College GPA (4.0 scale)

Transfer Applicants Should:

1. Complete and sign the application for admission. A $25 application fee is required for all paper applications. The application fee is waived if you choose to apply online.
2. Arrange to have an official copy of your high school record sent to the Office of Admissions as well as official copies of transcripts from all colleges or universities attended (this includes technical and for-profit institutions).

NOTE: (Credits with grades of "C" or better may be transferred to Midway. All accepted credits may not count toward the specific degree requirements of the chosen major at Midway. Only credits attempted and earned at Midway are used to determine Grade Point Average. Credit acceptance is determined by the Registrar. A credit evaluation will be completed and sent to the student after all appropriate documents have been received. Midway uses the A=4.0 grading system.
