Friday, September 15th
4:00 – 6:00 p.m. – Check-In/Registration and Resource Fair in Anne Hart Raymond lobby
6:00 – 7:00 p.m.– Dessert Mixer in Anne Hart Raymond with Dr. John Marsden (University President) and the President’s Advisory Council
7:30 – 9:00 p.m. – Pep Rally in Marshall Gymnasium. Introducing all Midway University Sports and Student Athletes.
Saturday, September 16th
8:00 – 10:00 a.m. – Check-In/Registration in Anne Hart Raymond lobby
9:30 – 10:00 a.m. – Coffee & Pastry Mixer in Anne Hart Raymond lobby
10:00 – 11:00 a.m. – Faculty Spotlight in Anne Hart Raymond. Several Midway University Faculty members will present interesting information in their respective areas.
11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. – Lunch on the Lawn in front of McManis Student Center. Live music, lawn games, and a photo booth
1:30 – 3:30 p.m. – Equine Demonstration at the Equestrian Center
3:30 – 8:00 p.m. – Annual Midway Fall Festival, attend nearby athletic events, explore the bluegrass region
8:00 – 10:00 p.m. – Bonfire with S’mores & Midway Haunted Tours next to the Soccer Fields
The cost to attend Family Weekend is $15 per person and covers the cost of all food and a t-shirt. Midway University students do not have to pay, only guests attending with them.
There are a number of hotels in the area. Frankfort is 10 minutes away, Georgetown is 15 minutes away, and Lexington is 30 minutes away. If you plan to book a hotel room please do so early as this is the Midway Fall Festival weekend and the Keeneland Sales which is a busy time in the Lexington area.
