Christmas Vespers – A Celebration of the Holiday with Carols, Hymns and Readings
Join the Midway College Chorale as they host a community musical celebration. Vespers musical performances will include traditional carols, hymns and some readings of scripture. Joining the Chorale will be other members of the Midway community from area churches, the Midway Children’s Choir, Woodford County High School and more.

Constitution Day Speaker
Deputy Chief Justice Mary C. Noble
Kentucky Supreme Court
In recognition of Constitution Day, Mary C. Noble, Deputy Chief Justice of the Kentucky Supreme Court, will speak about her work on Kentucky’s highest court.
After serving fifteen years as a Fayette Circuit Court judge, Mary C. Noble was elected to the Supreme Court from the Fifth Supreme Court District, which comprises, Fayette, Franklin, Scott, Woodford, Bourbon, Clark, Madison, Jessamine, Boyle, Mercer and Anderson Counties in 2006. She was re-elected to the Supreme Court unopposed in 2008. In 2010, Chief Justice John Minton appointed her Deputy Chief Justice. In 2011, she became the first woman to preside at the Kentucky Supreme Court in a case in which the Chief Justice was recused. Read Mary C. A lil Bluegrass, a lil folk and all Kentucky. Three central Kentuckians became friends and music started to form. That’s how Amandalin Kay Ryan, Kyle Joseph Ayres and Blake Oliver Dean Hester describe how their band was formed.
This event is free and open to the public. No reservations required. Guests should bring blankets or chairs for seating in the amphitheater, no seating will be provided. In case of rain the event will move inside Piper Dining Hall.

Clifford C. Kuhn, MD, the Laugh Doctor, is a physician, medical school professor, comedian, professional speaker and personal consultant who helps individuals and groups enhance performance, productivity and health by creating and sustaining more fun. He offers uplifting keynotes and after-dinner presentations, as well as full and partial day seminars and workshops, which teach audiences as diverse as corporate executives, physicians and chronically ill patients how to rediscover their natural humor resources.
A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Cliff graduated from Ursinus College and Jefferson Medical College, before receiving his psychiatric training at the University of Michigan. He has held his current medical school faculty position since 1974 and has through the years served as Chief of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, Director of Residency Training and Associate Chairman of the Psychiatry Department. He is the recipient of many awards and accolades for his accomplishments as an academician and teacher.

This is a high-energy comedy show plus a game show with audience participation. The show includes three acts of fun. Act One audience participation in a comedy improv show. Act Two a stand-up comedy set. And Act Three the comedy game show where participants have a chance to win cash and other prizes.
