The Bachelor of Arts degree in Sport Management (SM) is a unique program which features cohort-based instruction.
The student typically will have completed a minimum of 40 credit hours of college credit before commencement of the degree program. Exceptions to these criteria are made on a case-by-case basis as judged by a program admissions committee.
This course of study, which leads to a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sport Management, will provide the educational offerings to students preparing for professional careers related to the delivery and management of sport programs or physical activity in business, community, public, and private settings. The job market for graduates of our program will include, but is not limited to, positions in college athletic departments, professional sport organizations, sport governing bodies, event and facility management, ticket sales, public relations, sport marketing and promotions companies, sporting goods industry, sport media, YMCA’s, sport clubs, and parks and recreation departments.
