Orientation Group/First Floor Meetings: Meet your RA , discuss the rules of the floor, and make a flip-flops for the Luau tomorrow night! Residence Halls

Forget Something? Did you forget to pack something? Don’t worry! Join Student Affairs for a trip to Hamburg Pavilion in Lexington. Vans leave behind Belle Wisdom at 6:00 p.m.

8:30 p.m.
Movie/Pizza: Join our Residence Life staff and Midway Christian Church for a movie and pizza. Buster Hall and Belle Wisdom Lobbies

10:55 a.m. — Noon
Midway Christian Church Service: Join the Midway Christian Church for a welcome service.AHRC Duthie Auditorium

MAPP Test (Residential Student Session): This exam is required of all students. It is not a placement exam. This is an assessment the college uses to gauge its effectiveness with students. Piper Dining Hall

4:00 p.m. — 5:00 p.m.
Orientation Group Sessions:For all students to get to know what it is going to take to be a student and what services Midway has to offer. Piper Dining Hall

RSR Luau/Floor Wars: Join the Ruth Slack Roach Scholars for snacks, drinks, and games. Wear your new flip flops and a bathing suit under your clothes for some water games! Meet in front of the Student Center

Equitation Class Placement Exam (Required of All Equine Students)
Hunt Seat/Dressage/Event: Equestrian Center

**If you took the placement exam during Equine Overnight, you do not need to retake the exam.

Advising Session: If you have not yet registered for classes you must attend this advising session. Academic advisors will be available to help you review course offerings, evaluate transfer credit and select courses for the semester. Piper Dining Hall

Orientation Group Scavenger Hunt: Meet in front of the McManis Student Center for a hunt for all the different places around campus. Start at McManis Student Center

4:30 p.m. — 5:30 p.m.
Work-Study Meeting: This meeting is required for all work-study students. This will be the time when you are given your work-study placement and complete the appropriate paperwork. AHRC, Duthie Auditorium

5:00 p.m.— 7:00 p.m.
Dinner: Piper Dining Hall

6:30 p.m.
Athletics Meeting: If you are a Midway College athlete or prospective equine athletic team member, you are required to attend this meeting. AHRC Duthie Auditorium

8:30 p.m.
Popsicles on the Porch: Join our residence life staff for a quick snack and a chance to meet and talk with other residential students. Buster Hall Front Porch
