Eagle Volleyball approaches fourth season with excitement! After several years in hiatus, the Midway College Volleyball program began rebuilding in the 2007 season. We’re now looking to our fourth season with great expectations. Though still largely a young team, we will now have the experience and leadership of four student-athletes who will be competing in their senior season (OH, Lauren Davis, S/RS, Kitty Sloan, MH, Jessica Nichols, and MGR, Valerie Vance). Davis, Sloan and Vance have all been with the program since its reinstatement and will undoubtedly be expecting to finish their collegiate careers with vigor. We’ve seen tremendous improvement over the last three seasons. Each recruiting class we’ve added more athletic, more competitive, smarter and stronger players to the great group of girls already comprising our MCVB team. We know the trend will continue with the 2010 recruiting class and expect they will be an immediate and significant impact in the coming season. It should be a great year for Eagle Volleyball.
