Leigh Oakley joined the Midway College softball program in 2005 as an Assistant and was promoted to Head Coach in 2009. While at Midway she has seen the program grow each year, with having multiple All-Conference players and having Academic All-Americans. She is a graduate of Lindsey Wilson College where she was a four-year Varsity Softball player. While at Lindsey she had a very successful career, both academically and athletically. Coach Oakley was on the Mid-South Conference All-Academic Team and also received All-Conference Honors all three years of eligibility.
