The Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference is proud to announce Player of the Week honors for October 15th – October 21st

Amy Alieva, Midway College – Women’s Tennis Player of the Week
Junior – Russia


Midway College junior Amy Alieva was named the KIAC women’s tennis player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, October 22nd. Midway finished the week 1-1 after defeating Alice Lloyd College 7-1 and losing to IU Southeast 8-1. Alieva won her #2 singles match against IU Southeast 2-6, 6-3, 10-2 and her #2 singles match against Alice Lloyd 8-1. She also won her #1 doubles match against Alice Lloyd 8-3. The Midway junior is currently undefeated on the season in singles play with a 9-0 record. Midway is 4-5-1 overall and 3-5 in conference play. They will return to action on October 26th and 27th at the KIAC Tournament hosted by IU East.
