The season looks very promising as the Archers continue to sweep the region bringing home numerous titles! First year Coach Tompkins’ guiding philosophy for coaching the Midway Archery Team stems from a saying of Vince Lombardi who, at the time was the head coach for the Green Bay Packers. Coach Lombardi said “Perfection is not attainable. But if we chase perfection, we can catch excellence.” Coach Tompkins believes that the success of the archery team will come from hard work, perseverance, teamwork, and the pursuit of perfection.
