In addition to enabling Midway the ability to provide scholarships with budget relieving monies and respond to unique opportunities, participation in the Annual Fund ensures Midway College is ranked well when compared with peer institutions.

The percentage of alumni that participate is a factor in the methodology used by major national ranking publications when determining a College's rankings because it indicates satisfaction with the education. These rankings attract applicants.

Gifts to the Annual Fund at any level of giving offset current operating costs and go to student scholarships, faculty enrichment, campus enhancement and preservation, all of which are critical to attract the best and brightest minds to Midway.
