Business Students Serving the Community
Midway’s Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) club members are making a difference in the lives of others. The club established a partnership with the Chrysalis House focusing on environmental education and sustainability issues. Through grant funds the project will not only help make energy efficient improvements to the facility to save money, but also will educate the women of the Chrysalis House about making economic decisions.

Student Athletes’ Honored for Academic Excellence and Character
Midway College is among the list of National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) institutions recently honored with a Champions of Character Five Star Award. To receive this honor, members must score 60 or more points on a scorecard based on how well an institution simultaneously promotes competitive athletics, academic excellence and character values.

Returning Student’s Success
Having left college to serve his country and take care of his family, Sergeant First Class Todd Collings is now back to complete his degree. He returned this spring to complete his B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies. When he completes his degree, he’ll become the fourth member of his extended family with a degree from Midway College. Upon his enrollment, Collings became the 2,000th student enrolled in a single academic year—a Midway College milestone.
