Field Placement

Field Placement Note: Once you are placed (notification from the Director of Field Placement), it is your responsibility to contact the Principal/ Supervising Teacher and establish a schedule to attend your placement. It is important that you attend your placement regularly and arrive on time. If you are unable to attend or will be late, you must contact your supervising teacher. IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO ATTEND YOUR ASSIGNED PLACEMENT, YOU WILL NOT BE ASSIGNED ANOTHER PLACEMENT UNTIL THE FOLLOWING SEMESTER. If you self-place, your field hours WILL NOT BE COUNTED toward your field hour totals. Establishing a field placement without TED knowledge constitutes self-placing. Field Form 1 must be submitted to the Director of Field Placement each semester or at the end of each placement.
