Become an elementary school teacher, and earn your special education certification at Midway College in Kentucky. Available through the Women’s College and online in our accelerated adult undergraduate program, this Bachelor’s degree in education program places special emphasis on teaching children with learning and behavior challenges.

Core coursework can help you develop your teaching skills in the areas of Mathematics, Literacy, Natural Sciences, Arts and Humanities, and the Social Sciences; while elective concentration coursework explores the nuances of understanding and reaching children with learning and behavior disorders. Upon completion of this elementary education degree program, you can meet the teaching degree requirements to work with special needs children in the state of Kentucky.
