The emphasis on Emergency Management will prepare the graduate for positions with Local, State, and Federal Homeland Security and emergency management agencies. The emphasis will provide the graduate with an understanding of preparation, response and recovery before, during, and after a hazardous event. Course subjects include preparedness, disaster recovery, continuity of operations for community and business, and the functions of the National Response Framework, Incident Command Systems, and the National Incident Management System.
