Choose Midway College’s Human Resource (HR) program to prepare you for the constant changes and frequent conflicts in the human resource industry. HR professionals must respond to the challenge of recruiting and retaining talent; understand federal, state, and local regulations; and handle the behavioral dynamics of the workplace. Midway’s HR program gives you a strong foundation in all of these and other relevant topics. As a student in the accelerated HR evening program, you will attend classes with other working adults who offer real-world experiences and personal support throughout each course.

Careers options in human resources include: HR Manager, Benefits Manager, Employee Assistance Program Coordinator, EAP Counselor, EEO Specialist, Executive/Management Recruiter, Health and Safety Supervisor, Records Manager, Organizational Development Specialist, and Workers’ Compensation Manager.

Other Important Degree Requirements:
• Courses accepted for transfer credit must be 100 level or higher with a grade of “C” or better from regionally accredited colleges/universities.
• Students may transfer a maximum of 84 semester hours towards a Bachelor Degree.
• A candidate for a Bachelor Degree must complete 36 of his/her last 40 semester hours at Midway College at 300 level or above.
