Today’s $40 billion equine industry requires leaders with solid business skills as well as a love of horses. Midway College's Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration program with a concentration in Equine Business is designed for students interested in the organizational, management, and commercial aspects of the equine industry. Courses such as management software and marketing, the economics of the horse industry and equine law and taxation address issues impacting the equine industry and offer strategies for establishing equine-related enterprises.
This concentration prepares graduates for positions in a horse farm office or other business which supports the horse industry including equine law, equine marketing, and equine sport management or in a business supporting the horse industry such as the Jockey Club or a breed association, various equine publications, bloodstock agencies, or tack shop management.
