Generational Study of Workplace Attitudes
Professor Frank Fletcher is currently Chair of the Business/Math Division at Midway College in Midway, KY and has held that position since 2003. He has more than twenty-five (25) years of experience working in education, business, and nonprofits.
In the past he has held teaching and administrative positions at the University of Texas/El Paso, Husson College (Bangor, ME), and the University of Massachusetts/Boston. Additionally he worked as an independent consultant and been a staff member for the National Alliance of Business, several United Ways, Gulf+Western Corporation, and McGraw-Hill.
His formal education includes degrees from:
University of Massachusetts Amherst – Ed.D. (Doctor of Education)
University of Phoenix – MBA with a marketing concentration
Fitchburg State College, Fitchburg, MA – M.S. Communications/Media
University of Massachusetts Boston – B.A. Political Science.
Dr. Fletcher has also earned professional certifications for both fundraising and marketing: Certified Professional Fundraiser (CFRE) and Certified Professional Marketer (CPM).
His current areas of academic research and writing are in the areas of workforce development including: managing knowledge workers, different generations in the workplace, and developing leaders in the nonprofit sector. He currently serves on the Boards of the Bluegrass and the Greater Cincinnati Chapters of the Association for Professional Fundraisers; has served on the Board of Examiners for the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award and the Kentucky Center for Performance improvement; and is a board member of the Greater Cincinnati/Day Organizational Development Network. He lives in Northern Kentucky with his wife Deborah. Four generations of their family currently live in their hometown of Crittenden.
