2009 Fall Semester  
August 22 Saturday SCD- Module I begins.
August 22 Saturday Residence halls open, check-in for residential students.
  24 Monday Registration for students.
  25 Tuesday Classes begin.
  28* Friday Last day a student may officially drop a course or cancel registration for a full refund.
  25 Tuesday-  
September 4 Friday Late registration for returning students and new applicants given provisional acceptance- late fee applies.
September 4* Friday Last day to officially withdraw from the college or reduce course load and receive an 80 percent refund.
  4 Friday Last day to register or add a class for credit.
  7 Monday Labor Day- academic holiday, classes and offices are closed.
  11* Friday Last day to officially withdraw from the college or reduce course load and receive a 60 percent refund.
  18* Friday Last day to officially withdraw from the college or reduce course load and receive a 40 percent refund.
  25 Friday Application for a degree due in the Office of the Registrar for December, 2009 and May, 2010 candidates for a degree.
  25* Friday Last day to officially withdraw from the college or reduce course load and receive a 20 percent refund.
October 15-16 Thursday-Friday Fall break- academic holiday.
  16 Friday Mid-Term.
  20 Tuesday SCD- Module II begins.
  23 Friday Last day to drop a class without a failing grade.
November 24 Tuesday Classes end at close of academic day.
  25-27 Wednesday- Friday Thanksgiving Break- academic holiday.
December 11 Friday Classes end at close of academic day.
  14-17 Monday-Thursday Final Exams (December 14, 15, 16, 17, 2009).
  18* Friday Last day to file an appeal for a refund of tuition credit for the fall semester, 2009.

2010 Spring Semester  
January 9 Saturday SCD- Module III begins.
  10 Sunday Residence halls open, check-in for residential students.
  11 Monday Registration for students.
  12 Tuesday Classes begin.

  18 Monday Martin L. King Day observed- academic holiday- classes and offices are closed.

February 5* Friday Last day to officially withdraw from the college or reduce course load and receive a 40 percent refund.

March 9 Tuesday SCD- Module IV begins.

April 2 Friday Good Friday- Offices closed at 12 noon.

  5,6,7,20 Wednesday- Monday Final Exams (May 5, 6, 7, and 10)
  14 Friday Last day to file an appeal for a refund of tuition for sping semester, 2010.
  15 Saturday Graduation ceremonies
