In support of its mission, Midway College aims to:
- Create and maintain a student-centered intellectual environment that supports examination of the human condition, cultural and global awareness, civic responsibility, ethical action, spiritual growth, and leadership development.
- Integrate the results of scholarship about women into the general curriculum so that students will confront, intellectually and critically, some of the key issues concerning gender and sex roles.
- Prepare graduates with knowledge of their professional field for meaningful careers or advanced study.
- Enhance the communication skills, analytical perspectives, critical thinking abilities, and creativity of all students.
- Administer student development and support programs to enhance the self esteem and holistic growth of students.
- Encourage development of faculty members as teachers and scholars.
- Provide financial aid in the form of scholarships, grants, and loans to qualified students, while responsibly managing the resources of the institution.
