The Midway College Call Center is seeking to fill a regular, full-time position requiring excellence in written and verbal skills, computer skills, organizational skills and sales or customer service experience.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work well as a team member with outstanding skills in verbal and written communication, customer service, reaching and exceeding goals, organization and multi-tasking. Personal presentation, team orientation, dependability, initiative and ability to work with frequent interruptions are mandatory. The candidate must have a pleasant phone voice and be able to effectively bond with the potential student via phone/electronic communication.
Duties include counseling students on basic financial aid information, assisting with completion of the FAFSA, introducing the student to an estimate of financial aid eligibility and communicating with the internal main Financial Aid office. The Financial Aid Liaison will be working with potential student leads at the main campus via phone, email, regular mail and web chat as well as at occasional off-site venues/recruiting events. Work schedules will vary and include alternative office hours (non-traditional/weekend hours). Two to five years of work experience in sales, marketing, or public relations and strong customer service skills are required. An Associate or Bachelor's degree is recommended. The position of kitchen utility involves, cleaning and restocking dishes, sweeping, mopping, trash removal. Performs general cleaning on a daily basis of dining room, dishroom & kitchen. Restocks condiments and supplies. Performs cashier duties. Performs duties assigned by supervisor to maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization. Dining services may operate on reduced hours during times when students are not on campus. Food Safe Training or a food handler’s card is required. The primary duties of these positions are in food service, however secondary work assignments in other areas may be required. Must be able to stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods of time.
We are seeking applicants for a regular, part-time, 9-month assistant coaching position. This position is responsible for supporting all aspects of a successful women’s cross country/track program at the NAIA level. Primary responsibilities include assistance with recruiting, practice planning and supervision, academic supervision, eligibility compliance, and scouting.
Position requires a bachelor’s degree, coaching experience, at the college or high school level, and ability to coach and recruit skilled student-athletes. Background check and acceptable driving record required.

Full-time, regular position requiring customer service and/or financial counseling experience. Primary duties include: accounts counseling, in person and via telephone, review & analysis of all student accounts with any type of problem. This position will work closely with students and other campus departments to resolve student account issues in a timely fashion so the student can begin classes. Provides financial counseling to students, prepares documentation as required, processes payment agreements and assists students with their textbook credit transfers. Responsible for timely & accurate data entry to students’ accounts when payment agreements are received and when issues causing holds are resolved.
Demonstrated skills and experience in data entry and computation are required. Understanding of basic accounting principles and software is needed. Excellent interpersonal skill in both face to face and telephone contacts is required. Experience in customer service is required, financial counseling experience preferred, accurate recordkeeping and required filing. Must be trustworthy and reliable. Proficiency in Word and Excel is required and experience with AS 400 is desirable.
A qualified applicant must possess excellent organizational skills, be detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions. Midway College offers a comparable salary plus an excellent benefits package.
