Adjunct Math Faculty

Midway College, Kentucky’s only college for women and a forerunner in co-educational adult undergraduate and graduate accelerated learning is seeking adjunct math faculty to teach: General College Math, College Algebra, Trigonometry, Finite Mathematics, Calculus, Geometry, and Probability and Statistics in class and/or on-line. Vice President of Business Affairs

Midway College invites applications for the position of Vice President of Business Affairs. Reporting directly to the President, the Vice President of Business Affairs serves as the Chief Financial Officer. Responsibilities include leadership in budget development and monitoring; sound fiscal, cash flow, debt, and investment management; forecasting; compliance with audit and other regulatory agency requirements for fiscal accountability and reporting; contract, property, and liability insurance management; facilities planning, risk management, and supervision and evaluation of staff.

Midway College, founded in 1847 and affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), is the only Women’s College in Kentucky and provides accelerated degree completion and graduate programs for both women and men through evening and online delivery. Committed to both the liberal arts and professional programs, the college offers 24 majors leading to degrees at the associate and bachelors levels as well as graduate degree programs in business and education. The main campus is located in Midway, Kentucky in the center of the Bluegrass Region and 15 miles outside Lexington. Staff

Head Western Team Coach

We are seeking applicants for a regular, part-time, 10-month head coaching position. This position is responsible for the management of all aspects of a successful women’s equestrian program - western seat discipline, in conjunction with membership in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association. Primary responsibilities include: recruiting, practice planning and supervision, scheduling, budget management, eligibility compliance, and allocation of scholarship dollars. The Head Western Team Coach will work with the college’s veterinarian and equine staff regarding horse and facility usage.

Position requires a bachelor’s degree, coaching experience, preferably at the college level, and demonstrated ability to coach and recruit skilled student-athletes.

Required start date is August 1, 2013.
